ODK TV Box is IPTV.
It requires internet connection to stream content and you can set up ODK Box with either Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- Can existing OnDemandKorea members use ODK Box?

In order to watch Korean content on ODK Box, you need to sign up for ODK Box PREMIUM plan.
However, the existing On-Demand Korea monthly payment is automatically stopped and the remaining balance will be refunded, and you can use ondemandkorea.com & ODK app with premium membership level. (When signing up for a new Box plan, you need to signup with the same email address as Ondemandkorea.com)
- What is the difference between "purchase a device" and "free rental"?

- Can I use ODK Box in Canada and Mexico?
ODK Box is available in Canada and Mexico. As long as you have a TV, Wi-Fi, and the ODK Box device, you can enjoy our service.
- What internet speed is required to use the service?
For a smooth streaming experience, it is recommended to have a minimum required speed of 25 Mbps or higher. However, these requirements are based on considering a single stream. Additional bandwidth may be necessary if you attempt to stream on multiple devices simultaneously or engage in other activities using the internet concurrently. Therefore, it?s important to consider the internet usage patterns within your household when selecting an appropriate internet speed.
- Is ODK Box a legal service?
ODK TV Box is a fully legal service through contracts with content providers.
- What channels are on ODK Box?
ODK Box provides KBS, MBC, SBS, EBS, tvN, JTBC, MBN, Channel A, TV Chosun, OCN, Mnet, CBS, comedy TV, Billards TV, Arirang TV, TBS TV, Silveri TV, fishing, go, religion, education, movies, and more. Please visit the Channel Guide page for details.
- What is the difference between ODK Box and OnDemandKorea?
ODK Box provides access to Korean LIVE channels, 100+ curated channels, and all content available on OnDemandKorea. In order to use our service, you need to connect the ODK Box to your TV.
OnDemandKorea provides the same content except for LIVE and curated channels. However, you can stream on your smartphone, desktop, tablet without connecting to the ODK Box.
- Can I watch live Korean news on ODK Box?
You can watch live Korean news.
- Can I watch American content?
You can watch some American movies on ODK Box but we don't have a plan to service American content at the moment. Regardless of our service, you need to use an indoor antenna or install a cable TV separately for American content.
- How many TVs can I use per device?
- You can use one ODK Box per TV. The device must be physically connected to the TV. You can carry the device around and enjoy our service anywhere as long as there are a TV, Wi-Fi, and the ODK BOX.

- Can I get a refund on the subscription fee?
Your ODK Box subscription is charged at the beginning of your billing cycle and if you cancel the service, your subscription will remain active until its scheduled end date. Any previous payments cannot be refunded.
- How will my security deposit be refunded?
- The deposit will be refunded to your card after we inspect the condition of the returned device.
- We may deduct from your deposit if the remote control or accessories are lost or damaged. If the ODK Box device is lost or has been damaged, there will be additional charge for it.
- Your deposit will be refunded to the card used to make the payment. If you no longer use that card, please let us know in advance to get your deposit back.
- Can I pay with a check?
We accept credit and debit cards for payment methods but if you want to pay by check, you will have to pay for one year. Please contact us at 888-213-5924 for more details.
- How long does it take to deliver?
We expect 3~4 business days shipping within the United States. The delivery information will be sent to your email once the package has shipped out. USPS shipping time varies depending on various factors.

If your payment was declined
- Please log in to the website and go to Account then click Payment Method. You need to update your payment information and retry payment.
- Please contact us at 888-213-5924 and the representative can update your payment method.
- The video is often disconnected or says that you cannot connect to the Internet.
- Please check the current internet speed on your computer. (http://speed.googlefiber.net) If your Internet speed is slow, please contact your Internet service provider.
- If your router and TV are far from each other, or if the floor is different, try connecting your device to a TV that is close to your router.
- The video quality is poor
We provide Adaptive Streaming to ensure uninterrupted video viewing experience. This technology automatically adjusts the quality of content based on the user's internet connection, providing the optimal viewing experience. Depending on internet speed and service plan, we offer video quality ranging from a minimum of 240p to a maximum of 1080p HD. Therefore, if the video quality is not satisfactory, we recommend upgrading your internet speed, changing the internet device in use, or contacting your internet service provider. (There are various factors that can affect internet speed.)
- I forgot my Wi-Fi password.
- If you have not made any changes, you can check your password on your router.
- You can contact your internet service provider to reset your router.
- The network connection is not working.
- Please reset your router and try again after 5 minutes
- From your TV, go to Settings > Network > Wireless LAN and check your Internet connection.
- If you still have the same issue, please contact your internet service provider and check your internet status.
- The remote control is not working.
- Try replacing the battery in your remote control
- Check the direction of - , + battery
- Please remove the battery from the ODK Box remote control and TV remote control and put it back in after 5 seconds.
- Unplug the power cord from the device and TV, reconnect the power after 10 seconds.
- I forgot my PIN Code.
The default PIN code is 0000(four digits zero).
If the default PIN code is not working, you can contact us at 888-213-5924 to reset it.
- I'm seeing the message "No Signal" on my TV screen.
Please follow these steps below to check the connection between ODK Box and your TV.
1. Unplug the adaptor and plug it back in to check the power is on.
2. For Samsung TV, you can check the connected device by using the “Source” button.
3. For LG TV, you can check the connected device by using the “Input” button.
4. Select the HDMI port number from your TV
- I haven't received the device yet.
When you sign up for a "free rental", you will receive the device 3-4 business days from the date that it is shipped out. If you have not received the package within that time, you can check the shipping status on USPS website, https://www.usps.com/
- I can't login to OnDemandKorea.
1. Visit OnDemandKorea website and click the Log In button at the top right corner
2. Please enter the same email address you used when you sign up for ODK Box and enter the serial number of your ODK Box in the password input field
3. If you have signed up for OnDemandKorea with the same email before, you must use the same password. If you don't remember, please reset it from the ""Forgot email/password?” link at the bottom of the login page
- How do I cancel my monthly plan?
Please refer to the followling instructions to cancel your monthly plan.

- How do I return the device after cancellation?
Please return the device set to the address below after the service period expires. If the device is not returned within a month, even if you return it later, you will not be eligible for a deposit refund.

- How is the deposit refund processed?
After confirmation of the return, the deposit will be refunded to the card used for payment at the time. If the card is no longer in use, please notify the customer service center in advance. Refunds can also be made by check, but a 5% processing fee will be deducted. Refunds typically take about 2-3 weeks from the confirmation of device return. If the deposit refund is not received after this period, please contact the customer service center again. The deposit may be deducted based on the condition of the returned device and the loss of its components.
- How do I cancel my annual plan?
"The annual plan is non-refundable and your service will continue until the end of your contracted term. However, if you need to cancel because of an emergency or unavoidable circumstance, you will need to pay the following amount.
Duration of using the ODK Box (months) x $19.99 (or $9.99 for FAMILY plan) + $50 early termination fee."
- How do I pay for PPV content?
If you would like to rent a Pay-Per-View movie, you can enter the PIN code and input your payment information. Once you rent a movie, you can watch it as many times as you would like for a 48 hour period.
- How do I check the purchase details?
To check your purchase details, please follow these simple steps below.

- Does ODK Box provide subtitles?
As of February 2021, ODK Box does not provide subtitles except non-Korean dramas and movies.
You can get subtitles for particular content on OnDemandKorea.
- Can I change the language settings?
You can select a language when you set up your ODK Box. Also you can change the language on your ODK Box, go to Settings > System > Language.
- Can I use ODK Box while traverling?
As long as there are Wi-Fi and a TV that has an HDMI port to connect ODK Box, you can use our service anywhere. (US & Canada ONLY)
- How do I replace the device?
You can contact us at 888-213-5924 and the representative will help you with the replacement of the device. When you replace a new device, you have to return the previous device through the enclosed return label. If the device is not returned within a month, the device price will be automatically charged.
